NOTICE OF REQUIRED ACCESS – WATER METER INSTALLATION
August 26, 2011

Dear Home Owner: The Township of Asphodel-Norwood is currently undertaking a water meter installation program in Norwood.  A water meter will be installed to each property that is connected to a Township water service.

Master Meter Products Canada Inc., a professional water meter service company, is under contract to the Township of Asphodel-Norwood to complete this important work.  It is required that every residence and business connected to the Township of Asphodel-Norwood water system have a water meter installed.

To arrange a convenient appointment for Master Meter to carry out this work, please telephone the company’s hotline at 705 977 2489
at your earliest convenience.

Installations will take place beginning in early September 2011.  Access is required to your home or business with typical installations taking between 30 minutes to 1 hour, provided you are properly prepared.  Please ensure that the area around your incoming water service and shut-off valve are easily accessible and free of obstruction.  Installers will be wearing identification badges when they arrive at your home or business at the scheduled time.  Township staff will carry out a follow-up inspection after the installation is complete.
