Formed in June 2005, the Mill Pond Revitalization Committee's mandate is to assist in the revitalization of our Mill Pond area that had once been used for swimming and Community gatherings and is now under utilized and a location for Canada Geese to migrate during the summer months. There are several components: to have this area suitable for swimming in the future, deter the Geese from accessing this location and to beautify this area for our Community to enjoy.

Through the assistance of professionals within our local area, water and soil samplings have been taken and researched to identify what it is we are working with and how this will be accomplished using proper protocol when dealing with natural resources.
