The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of all township roads and streets. This includes removal of road debris, brush, trees and grading and ditching as well as winter control activities such as plowing, sanding and salting. The Public Works department also looks after culvert replacements and hard top repairs and patching.

 

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY SERVICE DISRUPTION

STREET CLOSURES

The following streets will be closed to traffic from June 23, 2010 to July 6th, 2010

Elm Street - from King Street to south of the Norwood District High School

King Street - from Elm to Alma Street

The reason for this service disruption is:

Road Construction and to construct watermain, services and storm sewers.
