It's a good idea to find someone you are comfortable with and who knows your industry before you need them. An accountant can help you with the financial aspects of your business plan. In setting up your record keeping, it is a good idea to seek an accountant's advice so that you will know from the start what records to keep and how to do it properly. An accountant can assist you. In business, you will have a lot of dealings that will involve contracts. Some of them will be written; some of them will be verbal or implied. Your lawyer can help you understand your rights under a contract and advise you on your course of action. It is definitely a good idea to have your lawyer review anydocumentation before you sign it including a lease. A partnership agreement should be drawn up between you and your business partner(s) and then discussed with a lawyer.
