STORYTIME at the Norwood Public Library

The Norwood Public Library Storytime is a gathering of preschool children for the purpose of educating and entertaining them.

Registration is NOT required! Come prepared for FUN!

Stories, crafts, Singing, and more...

Every Friday from November 9th until December 14th join us between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. at the Norwood Library. Please call 639-228 for more information.

Storytime Goals

  • to create in children an appetite for reading and for using the library
  • to encourage children to respect other children and the storyteller, as well as library materials
  • to teach library manners
  • to stimulate children's imaginations
  • to help children develop language, listening and motor skills

Storytime Behaviour

  • avoid bringing toys, drinks or snacks to storytime
  • be on time for the program, as late arrivals can distract the children
  • join in the storytime experience by singing and participating in activities
  • Most Importantly - check out books and share them with your children at home
